Well, first you ask yourself what is the best thing to do. Then, you take that tiny little voice in your head and you pair it with the pit in your stomach or any other sensations you may be having. And finally, you do the EXACT opposite of what every self-sabotaging fiber of your being wants to do.

Yes, of course! We'd be more concerned if there wasn't. Life is hard. It can be rough. It is called "the game of life" for a reason. There is pain, love, heartbreak, accomplishments, losses, pleasure, happiness, ups, downs, and absolutely no instructions or rules, despite what we are told. Who doesn't need a head check?
